I could not be any more proud to announce some exciting news!

After many months of planning, preparing, designing and production work… blending my passion for design and LEGO…my first series is soon to be released!

Those who are close to me know that I have been a long passionate collector of “Designer Toys”. There is just something so endearing about the way real artists and designers use a shape (in the form of a figurine) as a “blank canvas”… then bring insane ideas to life. From the blind boxes through to the limited editions, this model of creativity is something I hold close.

It seems every creative project I work on has been somehow centred in what I call “the designer toy model”. And although things may have been very quiet in Wez’s World for many years, I have been seeking a way to merge various interests and skills in such a creative way as the designer toys do.

Recently, during a visit to a recent LEGO show, an idea came to me… and as many know… you drop the right kind of idea my way… and the potential of that idea hitting reality is very very real!

The idea is simple in concept…
Use LEGO as the “blank canvas”… well, to be more exact… create LEGO brick walls that will be the blank canvas.

Then comes the design part…
Drawing on my deep passion for LEGO Classic Space, I would create a series of artworks that are then printed onto the walls. These designs had to be from the heart of a true LEGO fan… that spoke to collectors and LEGO fans alike.

Then the Print part…
With years of professional print experience, this part would come much easier. I knew the potential, the limitations and the workflow. And once I purchased the right equipment, the stage was set!

The idea is that these designs could not only be displayed as a collection on a shelf… but also used in MOC creations.

So… It is with great pleasure that I announce the first ever limited edition, blind box, brick wall collector series from Wez’s World!

REAL SPACE Series01 is going to be released very soon and as a teaser, I thought it would be cool to share the first glimpse of the designs!
